One Valiant Hero, a $389,799 stakes winner who has sired the earners of more than $2.85 million, sells as Hip 52 through agent Chris Duke in the online Fastrack August Mixed Sale on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026.
The 2011 sorrel has sired two undefeated futurity winners in the last five weeks: Had To Be Valiant won the Ontario Bred Futurity, and Pretty Boyy Swag won the Bitterroot Futurity Finals.
He has sired 17 stakes horses, 11 of them stakes winners, with five earning black type in 2026. From 138 starters he has 70 winners, 150 wins and 241 placings.
His leading earner is Love Is Everything V, winner of the Oklahoma Derby-G3, the Mr Master Bug S.-G3, the Rainbow Quarter Horse Invitational S. and the Jack Brooks S., with 8 wins to 3 and $334,734. One Valiant Love won the Heritage Place Juvenile S. and ran second in the Rainbow Futurity-G1 for $190,364 and 3 wins to 2. One Little Liar took the West Texas Derby-G3 and the Four Corners Futurity for $179,542 and 5 wins to 3. You Buy I Fly V has 8 wins to 9 and $147,371, and One Slick V has 4 wins to 3 and $102,215.
“For what his stud fee is, he is a perfect value to breed to a grade one producer and runner,” Chris Duke said. “His offspring are quiet, good-minded, can run and have second-career value.”
On the track himself, One Valiant Hero won six times and $389,799, taking the $220,000 Oklahoma Derby and the All American Juvenile Invitational and finishing second in the $943,279 Ruidoso Derby-G1. He was a multiple G1 finalist.
He is by Valiant Hero, sire of three champions and the earners of $33 million, and out of Smiles All Around by Feature Mr Jess, a winner and a half-sister to One Special Shade, $368,927, G2. His second dam is a winner, a G1 finalist and a half-sister to All American Futurity-G1 winner Elans Special, $1,186,540. His maternal line includes winners like Catchmeinyourdreams, earner of $1,040,929, and Executive Trust, earner of $373,599.
He sells with 300 doses of frozen semen.
“He is a very good horse with a lot of upside himself. Great semen, very fertile, no problems, easy to collect,” Duke said. “He knows he’s a stallion, but he’s a gentleman and a quality horse.”
